Almost a month since we landed on this rock.

Tuesday marks my first month on Maui. Wowie.
So I've compiled this list of great and not-so-great things about Maui. Happily, the not-so-great list is tiny and really not-so-bad either. Here goes...

The Really Great Things About Maui:
It's warm.
It's beautiful
The flowers here smell amazing
There are lots of flowers here
The water is warm
The beaches are beautiful
The drivers are courteous
There's a surprise around every bend
Roselani Ice Cream (mango cream, to be exact)
The farmer's markets
Fresh fish
Walking on the beach at 7am
Waking up at 5:45 and feeling like getting up (and not have to. But I do anyway)
Shave Ice
The air in Haiku
My ward family
First Friday in Wailuku - the crepes especially.
Old friends

The Really-Not-So-Great Things about Maui:
The DMV (but to be fair, generally speaking, DMVs are not good anywhere)
The cost of furniture
The cost of milk
The cost of cars
My kids being 3000 miles away
Not having a fenced yard
I sweat a lot

Not bad, huh?
